Archaeological Museum Of Badajoz

The Archaeological Museum of Badajoz was created in 1867 to house all archaeological finds from the province of Badajoz. It is now located inside the Alcazaba (castle) of Badajoz, in the Palace of the Counts of  La Roca.

Its collections range from the earliest Paleolithic stones to XVIth century finds, encompasing all periods and cultures present in this territory
